Dog and Litter Bins
Our planet is precious – don’t litter.
Poop happens, just pick it up, bin it and move on.
All our bins are numbered and have a sticker with our contact details on them. If you need to report anything relating to the bins, please do contact us and quote the number.
Fairfields Community Council provides 12 Dog bins around the community area. The bins are emptied once/week on a Thursday and some twice/week on a Monday.
Keep Our Community Clean and Safe: Use Dog and Litter Bins
We all love our beautiful community and want to keep it clean and safe for everyone. To achieve this, we kindly remind you of the importance of using dog and litter bins.
Fairfields Community Council provides 1 Litter bin at Apollo Green. This bin is emptied once/week on a Thursday. We are currently looking at installing another bin at the Zipwire play park. All other litter bins at the play parks are serviced by The Parks Trust.
Why Use Dog and Litter Bins?

- Legal Compliance: Proper waste disposal is often required by local laws and regulations. Avoid fines by using designated bins.
How You Can Help:
- Dog Owners: Always carry bags to pick up after your pets and dispose of the waste in designated dog bins.
- Everyone: Use litter bins for all trash, including food wrappers, bottles, and other waste. If you can’t find a bin, please take your litter home with you.
